Over the years I have received requests from coaches who teach using my techniques to have certification procedures. I have authorized, for that purpose, a coaching organization called Modern Tennis Coaching Academy International™ (a division of Oscar Wegner Enterprises, Inc.) to be administered through this new website.
This coaching organization fills a void at the grassroots level for simple and easy Play Like the Pros™ tennis instruction using my Modern Tennis Methodology (MTM)™.
Coaches already certified by other organizations are welcome as well.
The certification includes an exam that needs to be passed with an 80% minimum, with an instruction on those failed points and a chance to take a new exam if you are below 80%. The annual membership fee, which includes the exam, is only $50, and includes several benefits:

HOW TO BECOME A MTM-CERTIFIED COACH
First: Score a minimum of 80% on a sixty question multiple choice test or at least 48 correct. Upon request, you may take the written exam in Spanish or Portuguese. All correct answers to the test are found in three places, listed below

Different exams are sent out in random order and should you need to retake the exam, you will receive a different one. The exams will demonstrate your understanding of the fundamentals of Modern Tennis Methodology™. Corrections will be sent to each coach to explain any misunderstandings. On the failed answers, we will provide the correct answers or tell you where to find the correct answers and you will have to attest via e-mail that you have read and understand them.
Second: You pay $50 and take the exam which will be emailed to you within 3 business days of receiving payment. This $50 includes a one-year membership to Modern Tennis Coaching Academy Intl.™
Third: Once you have passed the exam, a hand-signed certificate by Oscar Wegner will be mailed to you. You will be granted the right to list the level achieved on your business card.
MTM™ CERTIFICTION LEVELS
Apprentice: amateur coaches w/less than 6 months on-court teaching MTM or parents w/proficiency in MTM™ techniques
Level 1 Associate: above 18 years of age, min. test score of 80% on exam, no prior teaching experience*
Level 2 Instructor: above 20 years of age, min. test score of 80% on exam, at least 6 months prior professional teaching experience
Level 3 Teaching Pro: above 21 years of age, min. test score of 90% on exam, at least one year prior professional teaching experience
Level 4 Coaching Pro: (comparable to ITF Level 4, obtainable by courses delivered in the USA by Oscar Wegner)
Level 5 Coaching Pro: (comparable to ITF Level 5, obtainable by courses delivered in the USA by Oscar Wegner)

I am making the final preparations to relocate to Southern California. In this regard I have some exciting announcements about upcoming events and programs.
GROUP CLINICS
First, I will be continuing to offer group clinics which have proven so popular around the country. Although I will be concentrating on the Southern California area initially, I will be available for clinics in other locations throughout the year. If you are interested in a group clinic near your place of residence, I suggest you contact one of our MTM Certified Coaches in your area who will then contact me.

PRIVATE COACHING
For those who live in Southern California or who would like to travel to Los Angeles, I will be offering private coaching on a limited basis. If necessary, I can arrange for living quarters. Please e-mail me or Lucile if you would like to be considered for this opportunity.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Beginning this year, I will initiate a program in which I will offer one-on-one, high-performance training with selected players and coaches. Applications are now being accepted for 2010.
